PADDED SHIPYARD STAND WITH PROTECTOR AND SUCTION INTAKE

The new Foredom stand with suction intake, shipyard, curved acrylic protective screen and adjustable armrests. It is the perfect complement for any work table. It allows the total suction of the micro particles of precious metals and abrasives that are generated during setting, grinding and polishing work. The padded supports provide extra comfort and ergonomics during use.

Suction is of utmost importance during rework processes for two essential reasons: control of waste and occupational health.

– Control of waste: it will allow us to recover the particles of precious metals that are generated during the rework process, which will result in the recovery of rework losses that are estimated at four percent of the total weight of the piece.

– Occupational health: it prevents us from inhaling harmful particles contained in abrasives such as aluminium oxides, tin, zinc, silicon carbide. These components can cause serious respiratory problems when used without any type of protection such as suction.

The mounting on the work table is done by means of the support. The suction inlet is coupled with the rotating elbow that allows the movement of the tube in any direction.

The protective screen allows a clear view of your work while preventing dust from being projected. The interior of the support has another mounting mechanism for the support of the shipyard supplied with the set.
