The new dental lamp, FARO MAIA, offers those looking for high performance at a very competitive price. Faro patented optical design, removable and autoclavable handles and, from today, a new electronic card that ensures perfect compatibility with image capture systems and diagnostic equipment, increasingly present in dental surgeries.

Patented optical design with reflected light.

Thanks to the exclusive optical design of reflected light, through the 258 small reflective facets of each of the two parabolas, direct vision of the 2 LEDs is avoided, creating a totally uniform illuminated field of 170 x 85 mm. The precise definition of the light source eliminates the risk of glare, protecting the eyes of patients.

Progressive regulation and memorization of lighting.

The new electronic lighting control, activated by joystick or sensor, regulates the light from maximum to minimum power continuously, maintaining a constant color temperature. Automatic memorization of the lighting used, after switching off the unit and after the rinse function.

The surgical effect

Minimum size of the net shadow required by regulations: Ø 12mm. The surgical effect of the MAIA dental lamp generates an ellipse of only 9×6 mm.

Optional 2-D or 3-D rotation.

Perfect balance of the rotation system on the two axes of the head. Optional third axis of rotation achieving an optimal position of the light source.
