Main Features

The Medit i700 dental intraoral scanner is an upgraded model of the intraoral 3D scanner.

• The Medit i700 scanner now features drop protection (includes a strap that helps to hold the scanner safely).
• Compared to its predecessor, the Medit i500, the Medit i700 scanner is more compact thanks to its smaller size.
• Scanner handle with an additional button to control the scanned objects.
• The control joystick allows the dentist to move, rotate, enlarge or reduce the model, access the scanner settings, i.e. performs all the functions of a mouse.
• UV mode is an ultraviolet LED that purifies the air passing through the scanner (disinfection of the internal parts of the scanner).

An additional convenience is the ability to scan the object from different angles and automatic collection into a single model, so it is not mandatory to save a protocol to scan the entire jaw.

The upgraded scanning camera now produces 70 frames per second (compared to the Medit i500 which produces 35 frames). Scanning depth has also been increased to 23 mm, and the 45-degree mirror tilt angle has expanded the scanning area. The 180-degree reversible tip also allows the scanner not to be rotated to scan the upper jaw, but to simply rotate and attach the tip, which can now be autoclaved at 134°C for 4 minutes.
