PREVIOUS INFORMATION

PROBLEM:

Temperatures of 37°C inside the water lines of dental chairs, relatively long rest times and the return of handpieces, promote the growth of bacteria and fungi, which can cause microbial contamination (Example: Legionella) of the water pipes and consequently of the water in them.

Also, the large contact surface of the interior of the hose system and the plastic of which they are made, favors the rapid growth of bacteria that begin to deposit on the walls of the hose system after a few days; favoring the contamination of the water that circulates through them and the deposit of algae and lime that end up causing costly blockages in the instruments used.

SOLUTION:

The Metasys WEK Light water decontamination system effectively prevents lime and algae build-up in dental chair lines and continuously decontaminates the water used in the chair.

• The system consists of a perfectly calibrated pump that injects the appropriate dose of the Green & Clean WK decontaminant (Metasys) into the water flow of the dental chair and thus:
• The 2% Hydrogen Peroxide solution ==> continuously decontaminates the water,
• The algae and lime disinhibitors present in said solution ==> They effectively prevent the build-up of lime and algae and consequently the clogging that these can cause in the instruments, and
• All of this in a completely safe way for the patient.

In compliance with DIN EN 1717 regulations.
